Becoming a Member

To become and remain a Member of the FinditKitsap.com marketing co-operative (CO-OP), a business must agree to the following conditions:

Participate in building awareness of FinditKitsap.com by displaying our flyers, decals and brochures in your office/ business, noting membership on your web site and/or other passive measures that FinditKitsap.com may request from time to time.

Provide feedback to the FinditKitsap.com staff on improvements that would enhance the usefulness of the website.

Have an Email Address

The Member acknowledges that it is solely responsible for the content of its records, even if the FinditKitsap.com staff entered data. It is the responsibility of the Member to audit its data regularly and make corrections as necessary.

If a Member requests cancellation of membership, the Member loses all listing seniority position rights, which will not be reinstated if the Member rejoins.

Refrain From:

• Engaging in illegal activities or encouraging such activities
• Displaying material containing nudity, pornography or other offensive material
• Violating Internet standards
• Attempting to compromise the security of the service that FinditKitsap.com provides by trying to gain access to private areas of the system
• Making or seeking to make changes to the records of another business

Acknowledge that FinditKitsap:

• Reserves the right to modify or discontinue the service either temporarily or permanently with or without notice.
• Has the right to terminate service if a Member account becomes 30 days in arrears. A re-instatement fee may be required and the Member will lose its membership listing seniority position.
• Has the right to terminate service to any Member for violating any condition of membership.
• May release Member information to proper authority when requested, or if FinditKitsap.com perceives that the Member is or has been committing illegal acts.
• May change the conditions of membership at any time.

Understands that Membership will be terminated without re-instatement privileges if member:

• Adds or attempts to add a listing for any business entity other than that which is covered by its own business license.
• Attempts to modify any membership or listing data of any business entity other than its own.
