Answer: A business may choose to become a member of the FinditKitsap.com Marketing CO-OP and pay monthly dues. They can then expand their marketing message to give you more information.

What is a FinditKitsap.com Member?

Answer: These are businesses that participate in building awareness of FinditKitsap.com, agree to abide by our business standards, and see the need to give enough information so you can make an informed choice.

How do I know that this protects my privacy?

Answer: FinditKitsap.com does not require a log-on or capture your e-mail address, so you remain anonymous. We will never request, collect, or sell your personal information to anybody... ever. We designed this service to be beneficial to YOU.

How does a business know that someone is using FinditKitsap.com to find them?

Answer: While a business does not know WHO is requesting information, the system does keep track of HOW MANY shoppers want information about a particular business category.

How do I know the information is current?

Answer: Each listed business has 24-hour access to their name/address/phone number information, and can edit it at any time. FinditKitsap.com members can tell you more...new locations, seasonal specials, new services, or in-depth information to help you choose the business best able to meet your needs.

Do I have to put up with banner ads popping up all the time?

Answer: No. From our research, we found that most shoppers find those things annoying.

The business I am looking for doesn't have a website.

Answer: Not everyone has one yet. You might want to call the business and tell them you found them on FinditKitsap.com, but wish you had more information. We have strategic alliances with companies that can help, and will be glad to provide referrals.

The company listed the wrong address, wrong phone number, a disconnected number, or seems to be out of business.

Answer: Despite the growth of Kitsap County, we don't always have at least one of every kind of business on earth yet. Try a key word search. Maybe try a larger category. For instance, you might not find “garbage cans” but you could try “hardware stores".

What if I specify a location and I don't get anyone listed?

Answer: There may not be a business in that category in the area you asked for. Try again using a larger section of Kitsap, either north, central or south. If that doesn't work either, use "all Kitsap".

I'm not happy with the product or service I purchased.

Answer: Your best course of action is to discuss this with the business. They want you to be happy so you will refer them to others. FinditKitsap.com is a shopper-business link, but does not guarantee your satisfaction with what you choose to buy, or where you decided to buy it.
